  1. Elias N. Says:

My favorite object when I was small was my Woody cowboy from Toy Story. I used to carry him around with me every where I went. My grandmother once sewed him up for me because he was so beat up that his stuffing was coming out. I no longer have this toy I think my mom through him out.

  2. Anthony O. Says:

My favorite object when I was a little kid was this big Patrick pillow from Sponge Bob. I loved this pillow because it was very big. It was as big as me when I was little. So I used to sleep on it. It was my favorite thing in the world until my mom got tired of it. She told me to give it away but I did not want to. Until last year I gave it away at school when we had the white elephant thing in Mr. Kiltz room. Now I don’t know were it is but I miss it so much.

  3. Sierra D. Says:

My favorite comfort object was my big Tickle Me Elmo that I got for my birthday. It was my favorite toy. I didn’t carry it around out very much but, it was my favorite thing to have next to me at home. I thought it was so big that it was like a protector for me or something like that. I don’t have it still I think. My mom probably threw it out when we moved because I grew out of it. It was my favorite thing in the whole world next to God.

  4. Shannon e Says:

I loved many things when I was little. One big one was my bottle. My mom has always said it took her a very long time to get it away from me. Obviously I do not still have it. Although I also had an Elmo when I was three that was just as tall as me and brought it everywhere. I still have it but do not bring it everywhere. Those are to big things that I always loved.

  5. Haley G. Says:

My comfort object when I was small was my baby I called baby. I was really attached to her. I once left it at a store in the mall and didn’t realize I left it there until we were at my grandparent’s house and the store was closed. I cried all night scared if something had happened to my baby. The next morning my grandparents drove out to the mall really early to get my baby that was thrown in the trash. My baby had so many holes and tears in it my babysitter had to buy fabric and patch her up for me. I still have my baby today, even though it’s old and has holes I wouldn’t give her up for anything. I have had her for about thirteen years now!

  6. Sarah F Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was small would have been a stuffed Pegasus horse. (Pegasus is the flying horse in the movie Hercules) I always would carry my horse around with me wherever I went. I do not remember now exactly the reason that I enjoyed this stuffed animal, but I do remember that it was my friend. I still have this animal, though it does not always carry the same significance that it did for me when I was much younger.

  7. Darian D Says:

When I was a little girl, I had two main comfort objects. My main comfort object though was my powder-monkey. Powder-monkey got its name because it was a monkey (even though it looks somewhat like a bear) and it smelt like powder. I loved it so much and always had it with me so I could feel safe. I loved it so much that he actually turned from pink to gray and had to be re-stuffed many times. I still have my powder-monkey even though he has no stuffing left in him and is very fragile. I keep him on the bed or on the chair so he doesn’t get ripped open or something.

  8. Dillon C Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was little was a little suffed animal cow. I called him cow, because I didnt really know any good names. I used to not be able to go to sleep without him, or freak out because he was not with me. I guess I was alone back then, and He was like my freind. I do still have him, and he sits in my closet.

  10. Danny G. Says:

When I was a little kid my favorite toy was my little set of golf clubs. I would bring them everywhere and whenever I would see someone I would show them my golf clubs. I could go outside and play with them for hours on end and not get bored. On my fifth birthday my golf clubs broke and I was so sad. I remember I didn’t want to do anything at my birthday party. When my dad came over to talk to me he said go look in the other room. And when I did I found a brand new set of golf clubs. I was so happy and I played with them for years. Still to this day I have those golf clubs in my room.

  11. AndrewM Says:

I had many comfort objects when I was a kid. But my favorite one was a teddy bear. The teddy bears name was Mr. Mc D. He was awesome I would always sleep with him. I still have him but I dont sleep with him.

  12. scout a. Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was younger was stuffed animal lion named Leo. My grandpa gave it to me the day I was born and I still have it today. In many pictures when I was younger, Leo is in and every year he seems to get smaller and smaller, but I know its really me whose growing. When I would go somewhere, Leo would come with me.

  13. Jordan S Says:

My favorite toy when I was little was a stuffed mouse named snuckums. He had a little stuffed bed and he held a little blanket. Every night my mom would pretend she was him and talk to me. I actually thought he was real. I do still have him. He is in one of the cabinets in my garage. Sometimes I wish I could be little and innocent again so I could play with him.

  14. Ellen S. Says:

I had many favorite objects as a kid. I do remember though that I had his one teddy bear that i would always hold. His name was Mr.Bearny. He was my favorte toy and I would always keep him close, and go everywhere with him. I even still have him. That was my favorite toy as a child.

  15. Juliana C Says:

My favorite toy when i was little was this little doll that my grandma gave me. I named her Prudence for some reason, and she was a water baby. I dont know why I loved her so much, but she was so soft and I liked to take her everywhere. Then one day my brother poked a whole in it so it leaked until it died. So, I don’t have her anymore.

  16. Jacob H. Says:

My comfort object when I was a kid was the game Monopoly. I always loved to play it with my friends and family. Although I still have it I barely play it anymore. Due to homework I don’t have time anymore. However I still love that game.

  17. Jillian L Says:

I didn’t really have something super special to me as a child. That was probably because I had so many stuffed animals and I wanted to love them all the same. I did have one I got from my godmother when I was 4. It was a little lumpy bear the color of a peach. I called him Peaches. He was so soft; I loved sleeping with that little nugget.

  18. meghan r Says:

My favorite comfort object from when I was small was a Beanie Baby cat. I took the cat every where with me. My mother got so sick of it being dirty that she just replaced it with the same exact cat every year. When I finally grew out of the toy I had about five of them. Yes, I do still have all of the cats, but they all look like they might fall apart at and second. The cat was really important to me at the time.

  19. Jacqueline M 8b Says:

My favorite comfort item when I was little was my blue and pink blanket. The blanket was so cute and had sparkly strings woven through it. My grandma had made it for me when I was only a few months old. I took it everywhere, and I always slept with it. My blanket was very special to me. I still have it, but I don’t use it anymore. I will always keep it for memories sake.

  20. Madison H. Says:

I never had a favorite comfort object when I was young. I never had anything that I couldn’t sleep with or that I always needed to have around. I loved to play with toys like Barney and Babybop, but I never needed or wanted them all of the time. Since I never had a comfort object I obviously don’t have it.

  21. Mackenzie E. Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was little was my stuffed animal bear. His name was Huggy and I had him ever since I was born. I still have him to this very day but I acually have two of him because I ruined my first one so I got a new one when I was six or seven. I would bring him with me everywhere no matter where I went. Whenever I was sad or mad I used to hug him and thats mostly why his name was Huggy. Now that i think about it, it would’ve been hard to live my childhood if I did not have a comfort object such as Huggy.

  22. Ben S. Says:

This was my favorite comfort object when i was younger. My favorite comfort object was a blue blancket that i took nearly everywhere with the excepition of public places. Several times my grandmother had to sew it to keep it from getting too tattered and torn. That was my favorite comfort object from when i was younger.

  23. Michael M 8B Says:

My favorite comfort objects when i was a toddler were four things. The first object is my old torn up beany baby horse. this horse was so beat up and torn the stuffing kept on cmoing out and my grandmother had to sew it back together several times. the second item is a thing of deodorant that i carried around everywhere i went and i called it “oderant” and i literally carried it around everywhere i went. The third object is my moms green blanket that she had when she was a child, i used it to sleep in. the fourth and last item was my teddy bear called fluffy. i got this bear in the hospital when i got stitches. all of these items are still in my possession today. I will probably give these items to my children as well.

  24. Alexia O Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was small was a Molly doll from the Comfy Couch. I used to carry it around all the time. My grandma used to make clothes for it. I don’t have this anymore because I gave her away. This doll was a big part of my childhood.

  25. Maddie S. Says:

When I was little my favorite comfort item was a teddy bear named Franklin that my dad got for me from a business trip. I took it with me whenever I went over to someone’s house or out of town. I was very attached to him. He wears corduroy overalls that have had to be sewn up because my dog attacked him once when she was a puppy. I still have Franklin, but I don’t take him anywhere, he just stays in my room.

  26. Keegan M. 8A Says:

My favorite comfort object was my dog and I am glad that he is still alive. He was always they’re for me. When I was crying or sad he could always tell and he would come up to me and sit on my lap and lick my face. Today he still does and he is my Best Friend. I know he is just a dog but when I talk to him I feel like he knows what I am saying and that he understands it too.

  27. nate h Says:

My favorite object that I carried around when I was small was my toy elephant. I couldn’t go anywhere without my toy elephant. I was only comfortable out in public when I had my elephant. Sadly, I no longer have my elephant because I lost him. That elephant meant so much to me when I was little.

  28. Julie L Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was small was my Pink Baby. Whenever I was sad I would just hug her. I’ve had her since before I was born. To this day, I still have her. That is my favorite comfort object from when I was small.

  29. Julian D. Says:

When I was younger, I had one toy that stood out above the rest. This was my Thomas the Tank Engine toy. I loved playing with it because you could link it to the other trains, so I kept asking my mom for more trains to attach. I outgrew the toy, and now I have no idea where it is. I think my mom may have sold it in a garage sale before we moved the Arizona.

  30. Lauren G. Says:

When I was little, I had a comfort toy like most kids do. Mine was a rabbit with my name sewn onto its left ear. I called it Bunny and played with it all the time. I used to get very sad whenever my mom washed it because I thought it would disappear in the washing machine. Over the years, Bunny lost an eye and became ragged and torn. I still have it, though. It sits on my chair near my bed and it brings back many good memories from when I was little.

  31. Natalie D Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was small was a Buzz Lighter toy. It was actually my brothers, and since he influenced me on lots of things I loved things boys would like. I actually fought over it. In one home video of my older brother’s birthday he was carrying the Woody Doll (witch I also wanted) and when he opened a present he got the Buzz Lighter toy, he gave me the Woody doll but I threw it down crying saying I wanted the Buzz Lighter toy. I wouldn’t stop crying until my mom made my older brother give it to me and she promised to get him a new one the next day. I don’t have the Buzz Lighter doll anymore; I left it in the airplane when I was on my flight to come to Arizona for the first time to move. I wanted a new one, but never got it.

  32. Whitney H (8a) Says:

When I was small and I needed something comforting, I would always get my blankie. My blankie is my blanket that my great grandma sewed for me. It would always make me feel better. When I was little I would always carry it around with me. I do still have my blankie. This was my favorite comfort object I had when I was little that I still have today.

  33. Christian F. Says:

My favorite object when I was small was this dinosaur toy. It made dinosaur noises if you pulled it’s hand. I carried it every where i went. It was my favorite toy. One day I was carrying it to a store and I was looking at others toys so I put it on a self. I forgot it in the store. I have never seen that toy again sense then.

  34. Matt G Says:

Here is my favorite comfort object that I had when I was small. When I was a baby I had a small stuffed rabbit that I carried around with me everywhere I went. I would always have it with me no matter where I went. It made me feel comfortable when I was sad. I do not have it anymore because its stuffing started to come out and my parents threw it away a long time ago.

  35. Anthony K. Says:

I had a two favorite comfort objects when I was a baby and than when I became a little older. When I was a baby, my comfort object was a vanilla flavored binky. I would never give this thing up. I would cry and scream if it was missing. When I became a little older, I got a baby blanket and I was comletely over obsessive over this object. I kept this blanket until I was 11 and I got it when I was just two years old. I do not have the binky anymore, but I still have the blanket and I plan on giving it as a hand-me-down one day.

  36. Jackie F. Says:

Many little kids have toys or objects to comfort them. When I was little, I had this Snoopy stuffed animal that I always had with me. I wouldn’t let anyone touch him but myself and I took him everywhere. He was always with me, whenever and wherever I went, so he was my comfort object all the time. I believe I still have him around the house somewhere, but I do not need him as my comfort object anymore because I have my friends to support and help me. I am grateful for them and for my family.

  37. Christopher G. Says:

My favorite object when i was little was a tiny Big Dog stuffed animal that my godfather had given to me. I carried it in my backpack everyday of preschool. It was my special item that always made me feel a lot safer of happy. The dog was pretty beat up after me carrying it around all the time but I thik that I still have it in my room somewhere.

  38. Jack D Says:

I never actually had a comfort toy when I was small. The two toys that I always liked were slinkies and bouncy balls. They were very entertaining to me when I was small. My little siblings now like them also. Sometimes slinkies and bouncy balls are found randomly around our house, though, but I do not keep one of them. If I see one then I will just pick it up and play with it basically. I find them randomly all the time!

  39. heidi h Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was small was my white cat. The cat was tattered and had holes. The ear was torn off but sewn back on. No matter how beat up it got we could always repair her. That cat went everywhere with me. It had a little rattle in the head. When ever I was scared I could always count on my kitty to help me. I would also tell it all my secrets. My cat was my best friend, and to this day I still have it.

  40. Kait E. Says:

I had a couple comfort objects when I was little. Of these, my favorites were this pink dolly, a big green blanket, and a turtle with a rattle in its stomach. I received all of these when I was born and loved them all. Some of the toys and objects are gone and I have no idea where they are, but I still have many in a bag in my closet. I still have the doll, blanket, and turtle.

  41. Bentley B. Says:

When I was young I had many comfort objects. Although there was one the really stuck out. When I was young I had a green frog and I loved that frog. I played with it all the time. When I was sad I when to my room and held on to my green frog. Today it is still around but it is passed on to my younger cousins.

  42. Lauren G. Says:

I agree with Jacob H. Monopoly is a very fun and challenging game. I don’t think I’ve ever finished a game because it’s so complicated and long! It’s too bad that you can’t play it any more because you don’t have time. Maybe you could do it whenever you have free time!

  43. Justice R. Says:

The object that was always there to comfort me was my Piglet from Winnie the Pooh. When I was a little girl I would take good care of him and bring him along everywhere I went. When he was dirty I would wash him. I took him to the park and pushed him on the swings. One day I lost him at the park and I was very sad and I cried. My dad was nice to get me a new Piglet from the Disney store and I was so happy. Evan today Piglet is still there to comfort me.

  44. Madison H. Says:

I agree wit Jillian L. I agree with Jillian L. because I also didn’t have a special comfort toy. I had so many things that I couldn’t choose a favorite and just played with them all. So I had no favorite things that I needed or wanted all of the time. That is why I agree with Jillian L.

  45. Alexia O Says:

I agree with Jackie F because I would never let anyone touch my doll. I would always throw a fit when someone did.

  46. meghan r Says:

Darian D. is right when she said that her toy made her feel safe. When kids are little they attach themselves to something to make them feel better. When you are little you usually don’t have a friend to talk to, so kids make objects their best friends. Also, it seems like everyone towers over you and you feel afraid. Toys are a good way for little kids to have a friend and to feel better about themselves

  47. Sarah F Says:

I like Alexia O. statement about her comfort object. I remember when I was little I used to enjoy the TV series too. I also think that it is cool that her grandma would sow dresses for the coll. Alexia’s comfort object also reminds me of how I would never put mine down, and it made me see that all of the object’s are alike. They are all patterned after a favorite event or time or person in our lives, and they all remind us of being safe and of being loved.

  48. Kate K Says:

I had two comfort objects when I was younger. The first was a stuffed bear. I never really had a name for it, but I used to carry it around all the time. The second comfort object was a stuffed dog. I got it from one of my relatives when I got a surgery a while ago. I never carried it around, but I still loved it a lot. These are two comfort objects I had when I was younger.

  49. Megan S. Says:

When I was little I had a Pikachu pillow. I was a pokemon fan because I had to watch it with my brothers. It was plush and a pillow I slept with. It was to big for me to bring anywhere public, but I had it with me at all times at home. I was also a Barbie doll fan. Those I carried with me everywhere and dressed them up for different occasions, and did it’s hair. These were some of the toys I had when I was little.

  50. Megan S. Says:

Natalie D. I had grown up with brothers and had experienced the same thing wanting more boyish toys when I was younger instead of dolls and teddy bears. I also was much influenced by them and I wanted what they had and I had an experience like your brother’s birthday, but I got bored of my brother’s stuffed Little-foot(from The Land Before Time) but I grew old with it and played with dolls when my mom bought me them.

  51. Tommy E. Says:

When i was little, I loved my tela tubies bear. I had Po. I would take him everywhere. I felt happy and safe when i had him. Nothing bad could happen when he was in my arms. I would never let it go. If I was ever without it I would be miserbale. I would cry till I had it again. It made me so happy because it was like my best friend. I dont know where it is now, but I remember how much I loved it.

  52. Dominic B. Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was a kid was a stuffed bunny. This was a gift I was given and it meant a lot to me. It was a gift that was given to me when I was sad. I would always sleep with it, carry it around my house, and even play with it. Today is still have this possession, I just don’t use it like I used when I was a kid.

  53. Jackie F. Says:

I agree with Sierra D. My comfort object was my best friend and, as Sierra said, I thought that my stuffed animal always was there to protect me. I brought it with me everywhere, unlike Sierra, and I loved it very much. My comfort object was also my favorite toy. Just like Sierra, God is very important in my life, and when I was younger, so was my comfort object. Since I was young and I could always talk to my stuffed animal if I was sad, nowadays it reminds me of God. I definitely agree with Sierra D.

  54. Jacqueline M 8b Says:

Responding to Haley G: That’s so neat! I can’t believe your grandpa actually drove you to the mall and found your baby in the trash. That shows that you had a great grandpa and really loved your baby. If I were you, I would never give it away. I’d tell my kids and grandkids all about what the baby’s been through. You have a very special comfort object.

  55. Matt G Says:

Responding to Nate H: Here is why I agree with Nate. I agree with Nate because similar with his toy elephant, I could not go anywhere without my rabbit. I would cry when I couldn’t find it. I think I couldn’t find it so many times that my mom had to by a second one that was exactly the same in case I really did lose it. I also agree with him when he says that he was only comfortable in public with his elephant because I was only comfortable with my rabbit. That is why I agree with Nate.

  56. abby w Says:

My favorite comfort object is a little teddy bear named Teddy. I got him when I was born. One of my mom’s friends who work’s with her got him for me. When I first got him, he had a pink bow around his neck. He had brown fur as soft as kitten fur. I loved him so much. I slept with him every night. Today, he has no bow and where the bow was sewed on him; there is now a hole instead. He still has soft brown fur, but the fur is a little starchy. And, he has one eye. Somehow, Teddy managed to lose his eye. And yes, I still sleep with him every night and bring him to sleepovers. Ask my friends!

  57. abby w Says:

For this question, I’m going to answer about the answer Anthony wrote to this question. Me and my family used to have a giant Patrick, Spongebob, Squidward, Gary, and Sandy. We had the whole gang! My sisters and me would always fight over the ones we wanted to play with. I always wanted Gary.

  58. Kait E. Says:

I agree with pretty much everyone. We all had our own comfort objects when we were little and probably still have them. Many of these objects bring back memories and experiences from when we were little. Most people had many or just one main object that they really loved. I think these certain objects are meant to be passed around and for others to have them and for them to know the special meaning of them.

  59. Nat B. Says:

My favorite object when I was small was a miniature pillowcase that I called Puffy. It has small blueberries and different colored flowers on it. I used it when I was teething too so I always bit on one of the corners and that corner is just shreds. Until I was about 6 I would carry it every where and I would just be devastated if I left it at home. I still have it on my bed, and it still brings me comfort sometimes. I loved that thing and treated it almost as if it had feelings. I would talk to it and tell it things when I was younger. I am happy that I still have it because it definitely brings back a lot of memories.

  60. Nat B. Says:

Many people said that their favorite objects were some type of stuffed animal. This is probably true because little kids could feel as if they were talking to it and that just maybe it would listen to what they were saying. I know that, especially after Toy Story came out, I thought that my toys and my comfort object would come alive and do things like Woody and the gang. I think it would have been tough if my comfort object wasn’t soft because it couldn’t co to bed with you and it would be harder to take places. I think that at some point in time everyone has had a comfort object.

  61. Ethan H Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was a baby was my Greenie. It was a blanket that my cousins other grandma, no relation, crocheted for me. I used to sleep with it every night, but I got over it and just have it in my closet. I had it with me so much that the corner is completely torn and it just is a pile of string. I still have it and I will probably have it as an adult as well. I would probably pass it down to my kids when I get older. My grandma also made one for my sister, but out of white thread. It is just a huge knot of grey thread, but my sister still has it. She died a couple of years ago.

  62. ethan b. 8b Says:

When I was little I had a green blanket and a build a bear workshop cow that was called Mo Mo. When I was in my crib and till I was five my blanket was the best thing I ever had. Then when I outgrow that I got Mo Mo. He was a cow that I kept in my bed every day and night. And I still have him today. Those are my sacred objects.

  63. ethan b. 8b Says:

Like Dillon c. I too had a favorite stuffed cow. And I would freak out if he wasn’t with me when I went to sleep. But when I was little my cow and I would fight closet monsters. But still it is kind of cool how he has a stuffed cow like me. But Mo Mo isn’t in my closet, I gave him to my little brother. That is why I agree with Dillon C.

  64. Bentley B. Says:

I find that Jacob H.’s comfort is by far the most interesting. I never thought that the board game of monopoly could be a comfort object. When I was young I loved playing monopoly on rainy days. It was a very comforting game on rainy days, when it was wet and cold. That is why i find Jacob H.’s comfort object the most interesting.

  65. Brennan T Says:

When I was very little i had a few comfort objects. One of these objects was my baby blanket. I would always sleep with it, suck on it, and carry it around with me wherever I went. I got my blanket when I was born. Another comfort object I had was my stuffed bunny animal that was given to me when I was in the hospital when I was three years old.

  66. Brennan T Says:

I agree with Bently, I would have never guessed that a game of monopoly could be comforting to someone. Like Bently I would always play monopoly on boring days and on rainy days because I would have nothing else to do on days like that.

  67. Ali S Says:

When I was younger I had a lot of comfort objects. My favorite one was my stuffed bunny. I would always sleep with it and have it everywhere. Of course I sill have it because it’s a lot of memories but I definitely don’t sleep with it anymore. I’ over that stage.

  68. Allie C. Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was little was my blankie. I carried it everywhere with me. I remember that I lost it at the movie theater when we were in California, but we found it. I also lost it a t the grocery store too, but again we found it. I do still have it today. That is the comfort object I had when I was little.

  69. Allie C. Says:

I agree with Natalie B. I agreee with Natalie B. because when you do look at your old comfort objects they do bring back happy memories. Also if your object isn’t soft it is harder to sleep with and carry. That is why I agree with Natalie B.

  70. Michael S Says:

I am responding to Jacob Heid’s answer. I think it is very interesting that you had monopoly as a comfort object. Usually people have stuffed animals or blankets as comfort objects. I never thought a game board could be a comfort object. That is very interesting Jacob!

  71. Maddie S. Says:

Alexia O., I also had a Molly doll from the Big Comfy Couch. I loved that show and I also played with the doll a lot even though it wasn’t my favorite item. That was a great children’s show and it’s unfortunate that it isn’t on anymore for other little children to enjoy. It’s funny how we both enjoyed that show and doll.

  72. Kate K Says:

I agree with Heidi. Many of my comfort objects today are very torn up. My grandma had to sew my stuffed bear up nearly every week!

  73. Sydney C 8B Says:

Hmmm this might be a hard question to answer, well only because I didn’t just have one special comfort object when I was younger. I had so many stuff animals that I would lay them all around my bed and sleep with them and read them books. I use to feel so safe with them, it was as if they were human to me, they comforted me all the time. I didn’t just leave one out ever, I always did things all together I was scared that they had feelings and I didn’t want to make one sad. I still have some of the stuff animals, but no I do not sleep them, they are upstairs in a box from when I was younger.

  74. Sydney C 8B Says:

Jillian L. I am going to respond to her question. Jill I agree so much with you. Its as if you and me grew up together. I too loved them all the same and I didn’t want to leave one out so I would always play with all of them. I too got a bear from my grandmother, I loved that bear so much and ever since she has passed away I fall asleep thinking about that I still kept that. I loved that bear to much!

I had many comfort objects when I was small. One of them was a teddy bear I named cannon ball. I got him when I was in kindergarten. I brought him when I to kindergarten for stuffed animal day. I still have cannon ball. He was one of my favorite toys as a child.

  76. Rachel W 8B Says:

When I was younger, I didn’t really have a special object that I always carried around with me. I had a bunch of stuffed animals that I got at bowling alleys from the claw machines, and I would always bring a new one home. I had a select few of stuffed animals that I liked more than the other stuffed animals, but all together, I had to have at least 50 or so. I would never fall asleep holding a stuffed animal, I would just have them surrounding me on my bed. But I still have kept all of my stuffed animals since I was little.

  77. Nick D 8B Says:

My favorite comfort object when I was a child was my blanket. I always slept with it. Every time I went to bed I asked my mom for it. I do not have it. I think my mom gave it away. That is my childhood comfort.

  78. Nick D 8B Says:

I agree with Anthony K. I agree with him because I too had a baby blanket. I like him always went to bed with it.

  79. Rachel W Says:

When I was little, I used to have this black tiny bear that had a pearl necklace around it. I named it Bear because I couldn’t think of a better name for it. I used to carry it around everywhere and I even held it in family pictures. I loved that bear so much and it got so old, and I grew out of it, so I don’t carry it around with me everywhere I go now. I still have it in a toy box that I kept with all my childhood toys inside. I think that that was the most significant things to me as a child.

  80. Jillian L Says:

Allie C, I agree with you. I had a white soft blanket I got at birth. I really liked sleeping with. I still have it and it smells so much like a little baby’s smell.

  81. Haley G. Says:

I agree with Nat B. After Toy Story came out I definitely thought that it was possible for my toys to come alive. I wish that toys like Woody could come to life. It would be interesting to hear about what they went through and they could also comfort us when we need it. I think it is very important to have a comfort item because just to know its there makes you feel safe and that everything is right in the world.

  82. Jake O. Says:

When I was young I had a teddy bear. I loved this teddy bear so much. I always slept with it. It never left my sight. I don’t have it any more which makes me sad. I gave it away to a charity.

  83. Michael M 8B Says:

Sydney, i hate to admit it because i am a boy but i did the exact same thing when i was younger too. ever since i saw Toy Story i always thought stuffed animals were alive. If i treated them wrong or dropped them, or left them out i always thought they would come to haunt me. I used to play with all of my beany babies and sleep with all of them(i had over 100) Then one day when i had my friend come over, he threw my beany babies all around and i was really mad at him.

  84. Dominic B. Says:

I agree with Andrew M. because a lot of kids have their teddy bears that they care deeply about. Children mostly name their teddy bears and treat them as a normal human being. Like me i had my own stuffed animal that i slept with and played with. So Andrew and I was alike when we were kids…When it comes to stuffed bears.

  85. Dylan T. Says:

I used to have many comfort objects when I was a youngling. One of my favorite toys was this one bear. It was pretty awesome, because whenever you squeeze it, it talks to you. I used to sleep with it at night. I always carried it around, wherever I went. I don’t have it anymore. I got scared of it because it started talking when I didn’t even squeeze it, and it scared me. So I got rid of it.

  86. Dylan T. Says:

I agree with Andrew M. I used to have many comfort objects as well. Mine was a bear, and so was yours. The name Mr. Mc D is the coolest name for a stuffed teddy bear. I couldn’t think of a name to name my bear, so I didn’t name him. That is cool how you still have Mr. Mc D with you today. I wish I still had my bear with no name.
