In sharing our personal stories, we become closer with people and can relate to them based on what we have went through. Sharing good stories with our friends can make them laugh, make them happy, or cheer them up, which are all very good things. Sharing bad stories is important too though. Sometimes you just need someone to listen to you and give you advice on what to do. That is why sharing good stories and sharing bad stories are both very important.

It is always important for us to share our personal stories, in good times and in bad times. After hearing personal stories, we can learn from the mistakes of others. If someone made a bad choice, we can learn to make better choices if we’re in a similar situation. In good times, we can listen and share our ideas. Maybe in a story, you and a friend experienced a similar good time. Then, you can both express your ideas and remember past encounters. In a situation I was recently in, my friends and I were all telling real life scary stories that have happened to us. One story I told was about Jillian, Grace, and me a few years ago when we were dancing in my room. Jill slid, and her foot hit my glass mirrored closet. The whole mirrored closet cracked from floor to ceiling. This was a scary story because we think that my old house was haunted. Jill, Grace, and I enjoyed telling this story to our other friends because we were all there. Through good and bad times, we can always learn from what someone did, whether it was good or bad. Also, in general, stories are fun to tell and hear. We must all tell our personal stories, whether they’re good or bad.
